Looking for Mr. Caterpillar

I went out again this afternoon to look for my caterpillars. I can not find the big one.  Do you think a bird might have gotten him?  He would have made a tasty morsel.

I finally found the little one.  I like the way the daylillies in the background sort of repeat the colors in his spots.  I didn't tweak this one.

I worked on my homespun quilt for a little while this afternoon, until I ran out of fabric.  I don't have quite enough flannel or muslin to finish.  I have two more rows to sew together.  I need to do a better job of estimating how much fabric I'm going to need for a project.

I have to go to town tomorrow.  I'm taking some things that I have sorted out to the Pro-Life rummage sale.  I try to get rid of a few boxes of stuff each year.  Hopefully I can find the fabric I need, too.

We have more storms in the forecast for tonight.  It is cloudy now, but it is still hot.  The heat index in St. Louis was 105!  Too hot for me.
