Sunday’s flowers

It rained most of the afternoon here.  We ended up with about half an inch.  It was still drizzling when I went out to take these pictures.  My black eyed susans reseeded themselves.  Some of them are rather large.

Tiger lily with rain drops.

Hot pink zinnia in the garden.  I'm doing a better job of selecting photos to send to iStock.  Out of the last 8 I sent, 4 were accepted!  One of them was the black eyed susan with inch worm.

One of my orange zinnias was accepted, too.  They must not have as many photos of orange flowers as some of the other colors.

Work again tomorrow, then a day off.  Toodles!

  1. I love the tiger lily, it looks gorgeous laden with rain drops

  2. Thanks, Cinders! I have more trouble taking pictures of tiger lilies than anything else.
Are you any closer to getting back to work?

Beautiful photos!! I love the colors.

  4. no not back to work yet. I am closer to the top of the hiring hall list, in so much as I am nearer to 100+/- rather than 500+/-, which is how long the list is.
