A year ago in the country

Worked again today, and

Morning Glory for WordPress

The glory of a light blue morning-glory

didn’t take any photos, so I delved into the archives and found an image from about this time a year ago.   This is a wild morning-glory that was growing in a fence row with the weeds.  I love the pale blue color of the blossom.  I’m going to have to see what happens when I run it through a watercolor filter.

Here’s the very same shot with a watercolor filter.  And I did tweak some of the other settings as well.  Which do you like best?

Definitely the second flower, as it has more color!! I love your watercolor filter. How are you settling in, here at wordpress? Good to see you post!

    • Freedom,
I do the editing with my Microsoft Picture It! program that came with my computer. There is a tab for “Effects”, then scroll down to “Filters”, then click on watercolor. Then I go back and play with saturation, brightness and contrast, and colors. I am trying to use this shot as my Avatar.

Oh the second one for sure!

  3. I like the second photo which uses the watercolor filter. Are you going to paint it?

It’s a tough choice, but I’m with everyone else! The watercolor filter gives it a little extra texture, and adds a little more interest.
