This image of the walnut tree has been accepted into my photfolio at iStockphoto. It won’t make me rich, and it may not make me anything, but just having a photo accepted is a big deal to me since I only have a 16% acceptance rate. Getting the acceptance email was my Yahoo! moment of the day.

I can see why they accepted the photo it is a great shot.
I think the subject matter may have helped, too. They probably don’t get too many images of old walnut trees reflected in a country lake.
What an incredible image. So beautiful!!
Thanks! It isn’t very often that the sky has clouds like that without it being windy, too.
Fantastic!! It is an amazing photograph.
Thanks! It was a magical evening. The sun and the clouds were perfect.
Congratulations! What an awesome image this is!
Soft sunlight, reflection, composition and shape of walnut tree are so beautiful.
It is very unusual to get the exact combination of elements that made that image special. Very seldom is the lake that calm when we have puffy clouds like that. It was a special moment.
Love it!
I took another one that day that my hubby likes even better than the ones I’ve posted already. I’ll try to post it today. Need to go get a box in the mailbox right now so it will go out today.
Oh I’m so proud of you…I gave up on istock a long time ago…I hope you sell tons of this one!
My luck on iStock seems to come in spurts, but it is easy to do, except for the time spent uploading. LOL When I finally quit working, I am going to get serious about my photography. Just a couple of more years. I’ve got to have insurance, and I’m not generating enough income to buy it outright.
I’m not making enough either, hanging on by my nails.
