It’s Friday!

It’s finally Friday, but since I have to work again tomorrow, it doesn’t really matter.  I was only supposed to work 4 hours today, but they ask me to stay for 8.  I’m getting my strength built back up so 8 hours isn’t so hard anymore.

They have been remodeling our Wal-Mart store where I work for the past two months or so.  A lot of confusion as things were moved around, but it looks nice now.  They had a lot of special stuff going on today.  The cake department wasn’t that busy, but the other activities made it harder for us to get anything done.  Since we are at the front of the store, we are the substitute “information” desk.  Plus, one local phone book has the bakery number listed as the main number for the store, so we get more phone calls than we should.  I did get to leave early enough to watch a beautiful full moon coming up over the hills and fields.

No more flowers tonight, but I did find a fall image from a couple of years ago.  Hope we have pretty fall colors this year, too.

What a beautiful fall picture!! I love the way the pine tree is in the forefront and the trees in the background seem to be changing color. I am so glad you got to see this! Sounds like you are working hard. I am glad it is getting easier for you!

    • Framing a landscape shot usually makes it more interesting. We have a lot of oak trees in the woods here and they don’t get the beautiful colors that other trees do.

We had a easier day today. Still had a lot of orders to do for tomorrow. There are only two decorators that will work on Sundays, so we try to get most of the orders done so they won’t be too busy.
