Gratitude on Thanksgiving

The weather isn’t something I’m thankful for today, because it is cold and rainy. But I am thankful we aren’t getting the freezing rain and snow that a lot of other folks are getting. Hope you are warm and dry, celebrating with family and friends.

I hate to tell you but our weather is gorgeous today! It feels like summer here. We’re having a fun day today. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

    • Thursday was cool and cloudy, but not as nasty as they were predicting. The St. Louis area did get some sleet and snow on Wednesday night, but we just got rain. Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend planned. I’m so happy that things are working out for you!

    Hi there,

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! It was cold here I don’t think we go over 50 and that is cold for us…no rain though and no wind either lots of sun. We had a quiet dinner and are full now. lol

    • We had a big fish fry on Thursday. One of hubby’s nephews gave us a big batch of stripper from Arkansas, so we fried it all up. Yum! Our son and his family from Iowa got to spend the afternoon and evening with us, and help us eat the fish.

  3. Yes, the snow and ice and temps in the teens and 20’s just days ago have given way to rain and temps returned to their normal 30s and 40s. Definitely made for safer driving on the holiday. Hope your Thanksgiving was delightful!
