Finished reading two good books recently. The first one was Nights of Rain and Stars by Maeve Binchy. She is one of my favorite authors.
The second one is See You in a Hundred Years by Logan Ward. It is an interesting true journal of one couple’s year spent living as if it were 1900. It has made me more committed to making as much of our food as possible from scratch. I don’t want to go back to the days before electricity and running water, but doing things as simply as possible does have an appeal.
