Living near your parents as they get older can save you a lot of worry. So about moving them to your backyard? Close enough for ya? Just buy something like a MedCottage or an Inspired In-Law Cottage. These small mobile homes are specially made to nestle into yards so elderly people with ongoing health and mobility needs can live near their kids.

Or, if you’re the DIY type, you can buy a construction kit for such homes, reports The Huffington Post:
